Rabbi Michael J. Kushnick
Rabbi Michael J. Kushnick was ordained from the Jewish Theological Seminary of America in 2013. Rabbi Kushnick also received a Masters of Jewish Education from the William Davidson School of Jewish Education.
During his final year of school, Rabbi Kushnick was the Legacy Heritage Rabbinic Fellow at Congregation Sons of Abraham in Lafayette, IN. He has also served congregations in Mahopac, NY, Hoboken, NJ, and Montreal, Canada.
Rabbi Kushnick has extensive experience working with youth of all ages and young families. He spent many summers running the waterfront at Camp Ramah in Wisconsin and staffed the NATIV Program in Israel. While in Hoboken, NJ, Rabbi Kushnick created a program to engage young adults in Jewish life and learning.
Rabbi Kushnick graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Arts in Jewish Studies and Political Science.
Rabbi Kushnick was born in Dallas and grew up in Parkland, FL. He is an avid cyclist and swimmer and loves the outdoors. He also enjoys cooking and following his favorite sports teams.
He and his wife Talia, who is a Jewish educator, are happy parents of their sons Nadav and Levi.
